Having looked at designs which highlight the very best of what Mother Nature gave our sheepy friends, I thought that it might be an idea to think about transmuting some of our favourite colourful designs into natural shades….Let’s go grayscale! You may also see here that I use the term gradient very loosely.
Gradients have surely been one of the biggest trends of the last year or so; we love seeing beautiful hand-dyed gradient dye packs and there have been such amazing designs which are complemented with the ombre effect. I think natural sheep shades make such a striking effect and, in the first of a few posts, urge you to think more about the natural rainbow
This is a bit of info on the Breed swatch-along, which cast on on Monday!
I have created some Pinterest boards for British breed wool from each category of the swatch-along for inspiration and interest. Obviously I can’t guarantee stock levels or anything like that, but hopefully this will give you a little idea of what is out there.
