Last week I went to Dundee to visit yarn shop Fluph and the wondrous proprietress Leona Jayne Kelly (and her two dogs Oskar and Arthur). We talk about wool, dyeing, the day-to-day of running a yarn shop and the juggling involved. We have a right old laugh too and listen in for a lovely give-away too!
There is one week to go to the Edinburgh Yarn Festival and I encourage you to get those hidden WIPs out and start making plans for your languishing projects before stocking up on more yarn at the weekend!
Today I have a good old squish of Kate Davie’s Buachaille yarn and find out about your Tales of the WIPs of Doooom
it’s a long one! I look back at 2015 and think ahead a little.
It’s autmuny/wintery; the clocks have changed and a darker period of the year is opening up in front of us offering us more knitting time…is that what I want to cast on all the things??
