There are 94 finished objects in the Hapalong KAL and this number is growing each day. With over a month left to go in the KAL I thought It was high time that I started to show you the PRIZES!
Prizes will be drawn from the finished object thread which were cast on from 10th April and cast off by 12th July. Some winners will be randomly drawn, but I may also choose a winner myself.
Let’s have a look at the prizes which have been donated.
Maker and purveyor of fantastic handmade bags – and now also a podcaster – Leigh got in touch to offer this amazing bag as a prize. I love the cute sheep print, but I was really struck my the size of the bag. It fits a full size, 4ply hap and yarn. I also really love the pockets inside – a very important place for needles and notions. You can find LouLeigh etsy shop here. Leigh is going to be knitting a Quill for Shetland Wool Week!
The lovely Deb from Fondant Fibre has donated a prize of a £20 voucher. Deb has a great range of fibre – batts, braids, punis, rolags – and yarn, as well as project bags and great club options too. I also have a pack of Deb’s Natural Selection British wool tops to give away too. Deb is making her Northmanvine hap from wool she spun from these very packs!
If you aren’t the luck winner you can get 10% off from Fondant Fibre with the code MORESTASH.

A lovely listener got in touch to donate two skeins of absolutely sunshiney yellow Blueface Leicester yarn dyed at Natural Dye Studio. This is really special because Natural Dye Studio closed it’s doors last month. This could be your last chance to get your hands on this yarn…
…or a second last chance!
As I too am donating two skeins of Natural Dye Studio yarn! These are two skeins of marled BFL and Wensleydale. Sheepy, soft, yet strong and smooshy. This was actually sent to me by Julie, aka evieandlily, and while I wanted to knit some of this yarn in a special project to remind me of Julie’s kindness (my own hap), I have some set aside for prizes!
There will be KnitBritish badges too. (ooo-oooh!)
It has been an amazing C/KAL so far and I have been utterly flabbergasted by the work going on and the amount of haps, multi-haps and even fantasy hap knitting that is going on.
I think the hap bug is biting a lot of people!
